Account Manager | Client Relations


About the Role

Fund Raisers Sports is looking for engaging and results-oriented individuals to join our Client Relations team. As an Account Manager you will be the face of our company, providing daily management, marketing and sales consultation, and product knowledge to our clients in the collegiate and professional sport industries. The ideal candidate should be ready and willing to manage competing priorities with strong time management skills, ensuring all client needs are met with timeliness and accuracy. The Account Manager’s objective is to oversee the rollout and ongoing maintenance of our turn-key fan engagement services, while consistently identifying ways to enhance the client’s experience and ensure long-term revenue opportunities using strong relationship building skills.


Overview of Responsibilities

  • Serve as our brand ambassador by building strong relationships with our clients by demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of our products and services as well as the industry landscape
  • Identify client needs and practice effective upselling behaviors to sell new products and services
  • Interface with project managers and other internal personnel to ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks in accordance/compliance with project timelines and client contracts
  • Maximize client success by providing ongoing and innovative marketing and sales strategies to clients
  • Mitigate client issues by delivering quick and practical solutions that allay client concerns

Knowledge / Experience / Skills Required:

  • Experience speaking in public or giving presentations, particularly in customer service or sales environments
  • Good planning and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of math and accounting
  • Strong skills and knowledge of software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands
