Account Manager | Client Services


About the Role

Fund Raisers Sports is looking for engaging and results-oriented sales and relationship management professionals to join our Client Services team. As Account Manager, you will be the face of our company, developing and maintaining business development opportunities at an executive level in the professional and collegiate sports industries. The ideal candidate should be ready and willing to make cold calls, manage competing priorities, and ensure all client needs are met with timeliness and accuracy. The Account Manager’s objective is to oversee the development and rollout of our turn-key fan engagement services, while consistently identifying ways to enhance the client’s experience and ensure long-term revenue opportunities using strong relationship building skills.


Overview of Responsibilities

  • Adhere to prospecting and cold call goals set forth by leadership
  • Stay in-the-know on changes and additions to Fund Raisers’ menu of turn-key fan engagement products and services
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Fund Raisers’ products, services, and best practices
  • Regularly check-in with clients to engage them in conversations that reveal sales opportunities
  • Deliver written, verbal, and in-person demonstrations of products and services based on interests
  • Collaborate with internal personnel to ensure quality and timely delivery of products and services based on client needs
  • Mitigate client issues by delivering quick and practical solutions that allay client concerns

Knowledge / Experience / Skills Required:

  • Experience speaking in public or giving presentations, particularly in customer service and sales environments
  • The ability to travel 25-40% of the time
  • Good planning and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of math and accounting
  • Strong skills and knowledge of software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple competing tasks and demands
